3 of the Hottest Accessory Trends for SS21

Just because lockdown restrictions are starting to ease doesn’t mean that you have to go out and buy a brand new outfit. Sure, you want to feel and look good at social events after a year of emotional turmoil. (We get it.) That said, sometimes all it takes is the right accessory to tap into current trends and take your style to the next level. Speaking of, here are 3 of the best accessory trends for Spring/Summer 2021 that would make the perfect addition to your existing wardrobe. Utilitarian Bags Firstly, it’s almost like the fashion industry has accounted for the fact that most of us haven’t needed a handbag in months. By introducing pretty-yet-practical options across the SS21 catwalks , they’re easing us back into the practice of carrying a bag. From Kenzo’s slouchy waist belt, to phone lanyards at Versace, to Dior’s straw grab-and-go versions, the focus is on the smaller, the better.  However, simplified, medium-size bags also did the rounds at Hermès and Prada for those who can’

Bandanas are in vogue!

The 90’s are back! The looks  popularised by Beyoncé and Christina Aguilera are back on the catwalks. The “sudden craze” around bandanas and scarves is revived .  Just fold it into a triangle with the V shape facing down, place it at the forehead and tie it underneath your hair . This accessory is a “must” as is racing through the ready to wear fashion and the markets.  Image : Courtesy of Vogue   The  bohemian look worn below by Christina Aguilera with a cropped red T-shirt and low waisted denim trousers is a classic of the 90s. This trend now is taking us by surprise. The bandana can be worn with a denim jacket or even a suit. While, the divas preferred denim trousers with a top and high heels, the catwalks, especially Dior and Marc Jacobs are recreating new looks.                                                                          Beyoncé                   Christina                                                                                                        Source

Cup of Daisies’s 1 scarf and positive luxury !

Today was a big day as we had to assess our contribution to our local community. After assessing our sales, a total of £100 is divided amongst five charities with the hope to make a little difference towards their projects.  For ADRA UK , one scarf means, to ensure that families both in the UK and overseas who are facing challenges because of  disease, violence and hunger are helped . Also at Tenovus vital income has dropped due to the closure of the charity shops and they need to continue their work in providing cancer care.  For the amount of the price of a scarf , we can provide a face-to -face advice session at Shelter Cymru and help a family to keep their home, joining the fight against homelessness in Wales.  At Noah’s Ark , a scarf , can provide a pack of essentials for the parent of a child admitted in an emergency.  Lastly, at Save the Children, one scarf , pays for antibiotics to treat 40 children with pneumonia, making children happier and healthier.  By buying and wear

I'm a third year Photography in the Arts student, studying at Swansea Metropolitan University of Wales Trinity Saint David. I am working as a Photography intern for Cup of Daisies. My personal work is mainly portraiture, through Cup of Daisies I have been able to continue that interest, develop my portfolio and continue meeting new people. Working as an intern involves photographing people wearing Cup of Daisies products in the street and in a studio. In order to get models I have to approach strangers, and engage with them, discussing the company and the charities it is working for. I aim to approach 'stylish' looking people, to create a stylish portrait. Although fashion is a new area to me, I felt it came quite natural, it was easy to spot someone who fashionably stood out. In my personal work I usually enjoy working in the studio more, however working for Cup of Daisies I enjoy the street photography more. This is because I enjoy meeting new people, and dire

RED NOSE DAY and the Hindmarch bags xx

Oscar Wilde: Be yourself everyone else is already taken! At "Cup of Daisies", we try to mix a bit of eclectic fashion with the relationship between charities and social awareness! So, especially for Comic Relief, me, I come out to strike a pose for Shelter Cymru, ADRA UK, Noah's Ark Appeal, Tenovus and Merlin UK, because standing up for a social cause improves your society, and together we do better! My selected design from the Comic Relief campaign for March 2015 was designed by Anya Hindmarch...yes, the Hindmarch bags!                                                              I am wearing the Nosebot!                                                                                               You can not  refuse a "must item", and the stiker on the bags just makes it personal! All kitsch art, pop influence and with 90's size and 60's humor style .I couldn't resit to have for myself a special Anya Hind
